XODE omni turns your phone into a light node on the XODE network: install it, leave it on, and earn rewards (XAV) for proven participation. This one guide covers everything — install, wallet backup, rewards, and Genesis.
XODE omni is free and has no sign-up. No email, no phone number — your wallet is your identity.

Installing from Google Play means signatures and updates are verified through the store. Do not install APKs distributed elsewhere.
On first launch, onboarding lets you create a new wallet or import an existing one with a 12-word recovery phrase.
XODE omni is a non-custodial wallet. Your 12 words exist only on your phone — never on any server. That means if you lose the 12 words, nobody (including the team) can recover them. Conversely, with the 12 words you can restore your wallet on any phone. Anyone asking for your 12 words is a scammer, 100% of the time.

Turn the node on in the Node tab and your phone starts participating. No extra hardware or setup — just leave it on.
On Android an on-device light client runs inside your phone and verifies the chain itself. The app doesn't just trust our servers — your phone checks the blockchain directly, so nobody can fake your balance or reward numbers.
iOS strictly limits background execution, so instead of an always-on node it participates periodically. On-device verification will arrive in a later update.
Vendor battery optimizers can kill the background node. Go to Settings → Battery → XODE omni and set it to "Unrestricted / not optimized" so participation never drops.
The reward model is simple: leave it on → participation is proven → each round settles into XAV.
XAV is not a database number — it's a real on-chain asset on the XODE chain, verifiable directly in the explorer.
The daily counter resets at midnight UTC, and to protect the network there is a monthly earning cap. Reward crediting also has a verification delay — if numbers don't update right after harvesting, they'll appear shortly.

Genesis is a founding-member program limited to 3,000 people. Enter from the Genesis banner on the Node tab.

Slots are permanently consumed in the order people fully qualify. The opening date is announced with a countdown in the app and official channels.
Q. My node keeps turning off / participation drops (Android)
A. Battery optimization is the usual cause. Exclude XODE omni in Settings → Battery. Power-saving modes and memory-cleaner apps can also kill the node.
Q. Rewards / referral earnings don't show up immediately
A. That's normal. To prevent fraudulent earning, rewards credit after a verification delay. Only contact us if nothing changes after a full day.
Q. What happens if my internet drops?
A. Participation isn't recorded while offline, and resumes automatically when you reconnect. There is no penalty.
Q. Does it use a lot of data / battery?
A. A light node exchanges only minimal, header-centric data — lighter than a typical social app. On Wi-Fi you'll barely notice it.
Q. Can I earn more by running several phones?
A. Device attestation and abuse detection are active. We recommend one node per person; earnings judged fraudulent can be restricted.
