1. Overview

XODE omni (the "Service") lets a user's smartphone participate as a light node of the XODE blockchain and earn rewards for that contribution. It is a non-custodial wallet and node app. This Policy explains what information the Service collects, uses, stores, and shares. The Service does not require traditional account information such as email, real name, or phone number. Users are identified by the blockchain wallet address created in the app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Stored only on your device, never sent to our servers

• Wallet seed phrase and private key (sr25519): stored only in the device's secure storage (OS keystore/keychain). The Operator cannot see, access, or recover these.
• App lock PIN: stored only in device secure storage as a salted SHA-256 hash, never as plaintext.

2.2 Sent to and stored on our servers during use

• Wallet address (ss58): the identifier for all activity.
• Contribution heartbeats: wallet address, the finalized block hash you followed, a timestamp, and a signature (to verify light-node contribution).
• Device identifier (device_id): bound to the first wallet that registers it, to enforce a one-device-one-wallet anti-abuse policy.
• Location: approximate (city-level) location estimated from your IP via ip-api.com; precise GPS location only if you opt in, and you can turn it off any time.
• Optional nickname: if entered, shown publicly in rankings/map; otherwise auto-generated (omni-XXXX).
• Reward and activity data: contribution points, XAV reward history, lock-ups, check-in streaks, referral codes/results, claim history, shop purchases/burns.
• Access logs: connecting IP, request time, and basic request metadata (abuse/DoS prevention and troubleshooting).

2.3 On-chain data. The wallet address, on-chain balances/transactions, and reward claims are recorded on the public XODE blockchain — publicly viewable and, by the nature of blockchains, not alterable or deletable afterward (see §7).

3. How We Use Information

• Verify light-node contribution and calculate/pay rewards
• Provide core features (wallet, node dashboard, map, rankings, rewards, check-in, referral)
• Prevent abuse, sybil attacks, and fraudulent farming (device binding)
• Ensure stability, handle errors, block abuse/security threats, and comply with law

• Server-stored data is kept only as long as needed to provide the Service, then destroyed without delay (or as required by applicable law).
• On-chain data cannot be destroyed, due to the nature of blockchains.

6. Your Rights

• You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction via the contact above.
• Deleting the wallet in the app releases that device's binding and deletes wallet data on the device.
• However, on-chain data and already-anonymized/aggregated data may not be deletable.

7. Blockchain Data (Important)

A blockchain is a distributed, immutable ledger. Wallet addresses and on-chain activity are permanently public, and the Operator cannot delete or reverse them. A wallet address is a pseudonymous identifier; you may become traceable if you link your identity to an address elsewhere.

8. Security

Private keys and PINs are stored only in device secure storage and never sent to servers. Server communication is encrypted via HTTPS; contribution heartbeats are signed to prevent tampering. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 14 (or the relevant age under applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect such children's information.

10. International Transfers

Servers/processors may be located in the Republic of Korea and the Philippines, so data may be transferred and processed internationally.

This Policy may change; significant changes will be announced in the app or Service channels, and the "Last updated" date revised.
